The Court is proposing amendments to its local rules. Deadline for comments is 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Federal courts have been informed that fake Notices of Electronic Filing (NEFs) being sent to attorneys and law firms across the country, including to filers in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. The fake NEFs are phishing attempts to convince recipients to respond to the emails; recipients who respond are sent a follow-up email containing a link to access a document that leads the user to a malicious website.  Please note that filers are not required to respond to a valid Court-issued NEF.
