The Court has adopted by general order the changes to the national rules needed to implement SBRA. For more information review the general order here. Watch for a notice about new ECF events for use in SBRA cases that will be issued prior to the February 19th effective date.

The Small Business Reorganization Act (“SBRA”) takes effect on February 19th. SBRA establishes a new Subchapter V within Chapter 11 and will result in changes to forms and to ECF events on its effective date. For more information click here.

The Bankruptcy Court is pleased to announce we are expanding service to the Bar and Public with a free calendar App. This mobile App is available in the Apple and Google Play stores. ChapMobile offers a central location for on-demand viewing of bankruptcy hearings and 341 Meetings. Using the App eliminates time-consuming searches on court websites.
The Court’s ECF Administrative Policies and Procedures, which have the same effect as a local rule pursuant to Local Rule B-5005-4, provide that an attorney may use the accepted e-signature format for a debtor client on a document filed with the Court if the attorney possesses the original document with the debtor’s wet signature.
