Step 1 - Register for an account at www.pacer.gov. The PACER registration wizard may help you determine the type of account you need.
Starting February 14, the Creditor List – Amended will become Creditor Upload - Amended. This event is available for use by debtors who have uploaded creditors to a case, for example when filing a bankruptcy petition, and later discover that one or more creditors were inadvertently omitted in the upload process.
Filing or Amending a Claim
Beginning May 2nd, the Clerk’s Office will no longer accept cash payments. You may pay online, bring payments to the Indianapolis office, or mail payments to: Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, 46 E. In response to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the United States and particularly in the Southern District of Indiana, the Bankruptcy Court has made changes to its operations. Those changes are described in the General Orders and Other Information and Meetings of Creditors Information listed below. Chief Judge Jeffrey Graham has signed General Order 22-0002 regarding refund procedure for erroneous payments made via Pay.gov. Click on the link below to view the general order.
For cases filed since 2004, you may visit the Clerk's office and locate the case number and document number(s) at no cost on the public computer terminals. You may print the pages for a fee of $0.10 per page. You may also mail a written request, with a photocopy fee of $ 0.50 cents per page if you know the exact number of pages, case number and document number(s). If the document number or number of pages is unknown, first you will need to send a written request with a $31.00 search fee.
