General Order 23-0001 (Resumption of In-Person Hearings), effective on March 1, 2023, provides in part that the party requesting the conversion of an in-person hearing to a Virtual Hearing “is required to provide the Telephone or Zoom information to interested parties not registered with the Court’s Electronic Case Filing System.” This requirement does not necessitate the filing of a Certificate of Service by the requesting party (though counsel are welcome to file a Certificate of Service should they wish). The Court has issued General Order 23-0003 (Local Rules Committee Membership), which sets forth the duties and terms of services of current and future committee members.
On January 23, 2023, the Court issued General Order 23-0001 (Resumption of In-Person Hearings, effective March 1, 2023) and General Order 23-0002 (Presentation of Evidence During Virtual Hearings, effective immediately). Counsel and parties with matters proceeding before the Court are strongly encouraged to review the details of both general orders in their entirety.
Effective Monday, June 6, the Bankruptcy Court will no longer accept documents in the drop boxes located at the entrance of each of the Court’s divisional locations. All of the other Filing Procedures for Parties Not Represented by an Attorney remain in effect.
The Court has issued General Order 22-0003 (Loss Mitigation Program for Chapter 13 Cases), General Order 22-0004 (Order Setting Maximum Fee for Chapter 13 Cases Under Local Rule B-2016-1(c)), and General Order 22-0005 (Order Concerning Status and Maintenance of General Orders). Counsel are encouraged to review the general orders as each replace previously issued general orders on the same subject matter.

Starting February 14, the Creditor List – Amended will become Creditor Upload - Amended. This event is available for use by debtors who have uploaded creditors to a case, for example when filing a bankruptcy petition, and later discover that one or more creditors were inadvertently omitted in the upload process.
