Information Routinely Collected and Stored
If you visit our site to view or download information, we collect and store the following information:
During the course of a bankruptcy case or proceeding, bankruptcy court notices are mailed by the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) on behalf of the Court. The BNC, which is operated by a private contractor, provides notice production and mailing services for the court, but THE BNC IS NOT THE COURT.
DO NOT SEND DOCUMENTS TO THE BNC.
Documents related to a bankruptcy case or proceedng should be sent directly to the Court.
Attorneys who practice in the Bankruptcy Courts of the Southern District of Indiana must be admitted to practice in the Southern District, either generally or pro hac vice for a specific case or adversary proceeding.
The motion to appear pro hac vice must be filed electronically. Pursuant to General Order 09-0003, the applicant is required to become an authorized electronic filer and should make arrangements to obtain a user ID and password as directed on the Court's website before attempting to file this motion.

Section 341 Meeting of Creditors
Under section 341 of the Bankruptcy Code, a meeting of creditors must be held in most cases. This meeting usually occurs 20 to 40 days after a petition is filed. The debtor must attend this meeting, at which creditors may appear and ask questions regarding the debtor's financial affairs and property.
