CM/ECF Update Re: Correct filer information in docket text for application for compensation; Update to appeal/withdraw of reference events; Clarify Order in No Discharge

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

The following CM/ECF update will take effect the weekend of September 16, 2017:

Correct filer information in docket text for application for compensation
Docket text for Application for Compensation event has been updated to include” filed on behalf “text. The docket text now displays in the same manner as other motion events.

Update to appeal/withdraw of reference events
The Circuit Court of Appeals Case Number and Notice of Circuit Court of Appeals Ruling events have been updated for use with withdrawals of reference and proposed findings of fact, as well as appeals. The Appellee Designation event has been updated to allow filers to select one of two radio buttons: 1) Appellee Designation or 2) Appellee/Cross Appellant Designation. If the latter radio button is selected, the appellee designation deadline is set and appears in docket text as "Cross appellee designation due".

Clarify Order in No Discharge
The sentence concerning when a case might be closed in the Order of No Discharge SDO has been changed to read, "This case may close as early as 14 days after entry of this order." The original sentence read, "Cases are generally closed 14 days after entry of this order", which was misleading as to chapter 13 cases.
