B-2015-3. TRUSTEES: REPORTS AND DISPOSITION OF RECORDS

Except as otherwise required by the United States Code, the UST, or other applicable law, six (6) months after the filing of the trustee’s final account, the entry of an order dismissing a Chapter 11 case following the sale of substantially all assets, or the entry of a final decree in a liquidating Chapter 11 case, the trustee or the Debtor may destroy or otherwise dispose of the books and records of the Debtor in the trustee’s or the Debtor’s possession, after advising the Debtor, taxing agencies, counsel for any committee, and any other entity designated by the Court, unless an earlier disposition is authorized by the Court after notice and a hearing.
